That's right - I've been doing some more research of the local area. Not only have I been reading about the place known as 'Mucking' the home of an even larger landfill site than the one in Rainham but most interestingly I've discovered that at Aveley Marshes rhinoceros and wild jungle cat remains were recently discovered.
I think I need to visit these places and start making some changes - me and Pip are trying to think of where to go first i.e. should we start clearing up some of the rubbish at Mucking or just get stuck in with bringin back the wild cats and rhinos to Aveley?
Anyway we are so busy right now I don't know if I'm comin or goin. A quick tip though remember when you get here - do not bring any materials with you for building your shelter, we don't need any more stuff in this area. There's plenty of materials on the surface here - with umpteen landfill sites and dumps - I even found a 'white goods' dump last week. White goods like fridges and washing machines have some handy insulation and you can use them to build the walls of your underground shelter. I'm working on a plan right now for an undeground home built using entirely old washing machines and food mixers. Really economical to heat and warm as toast.
Anyway I'll publish the plan soon - if we all set to work building our shelters in this way we'll have got rid of all the rubbish in the Thames Gateway and made ourselves some simple homes. Then all we need to do is work on repurposing the surface and bringing back the rhinos etc.
