After months of campaignin that have taken me all around the UK and even on a challenging and aborted crossing of the channel I returned to Epping Forest, my home, my encampment - 2 days ago - my happy home coming with all the handmade creatures should have been the happiest moment and biggest moment of the last year for me. But it has been the lowest moment in my life so far... On return I climbed out of my dinghy in the River Lee to find that the whole of my camp on the 2 mile square radius has been WIPED OUT.
It makes me sikk. Really sikk - everything gone, all the animals losrt even the guard beasts. I am so sad - apparently this huge building site is for a new Tesco's that they are building to cater for all the people who are movin to Essex cos of the olimpicz. I hate the olimpicz. I hate tescos. Even my dinghy had a puncture, so I grabbed a small bike that someone had thrown in a bush, took my only spade and escaped, I had an idea of where I was going, the place I'd read of in Great Expectations, a place of unchartered territory, a place that offered possibilities to build something new, I would become something, someone new, make a new start with just a spade and a small bicycle. That's right I would become the MAN FROM BELOW. I will tell ya more soon...
